GRACE PLACE, Respite Care for Memory-Impaired Seniors, every Wednesday and Friday, 10am to 2pm at the Resurrection Lutheran Church in Cairo. COMPASSIONATE BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT GROUP at 2pm. This faith-based group comforts and guides those who have lost a loved one, on their journey toward healing. All are welcome. HERITAGE CRAFT FAIR at the Bronck Museum, 12 to 4pm. Exhibit & sale of traditional American crafts, live music, food, silent auction, wagon rides. Free admission. 90 County Route 42, Coxsackie.

Wednesday, October 9

BUS TRIP TO TURNING STONE CASINO sponsored by the Freehold La-dies Auxiliary. Pickup will be 6:30am at the Freehold Firehouse. Cost is $35 (non-refundable). Contact MaryAnne Rarick at 518-966-4403.
2ND ANNUAL COLLEGE FAIR, hosted by The Greene County YMCA, 9-12pm & 6-8pm. Choosing the right school is an important decision. Help along the way can be critical to ensuring that you make the choice that’s best for you. Come learn all the programs local colleges have to offer. Financial planners will be available in the evening to answer questions. This event is FREE and open to the public.

CHICKEN BBQ hosted by the Palenville Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, at firehouse on Rt. 32A. $12.00 per person, 4 to 7pm.
TURNING STONE BUS TRIP hosted by the Catskill Elks Lodge. Bus leaves the lodge at 7:30am sharp and leaves Turning Stone at 5:00pm sharp. Con-tact Emily Gallo 518-610-3634. $35.00 p/p includes continental breakfast, light lunch, food voucher, transportation, bingo bonus or slot bonus.

ITALIAN PASTA NIGHT FUND RAISER from 5-7pm, hosted by the Catskill Elks Lodge. $11.00 per person ($11.50 take out) includes pasta, meatballs, sausage, salad and bread. Located at the end of North Jefferson Avenue in Jefferson Heights, Catskill.

GRIEF SUPPORT GROUP – meeting the second and fourth Friday each month, 6pm at Van Heest Hall, Bethany Village, Coxsackie. 3RD ANNUAL FALL CRAFT FAIR sponsored by The Catskill United Meth-odist Church, 40 Woodland Ave, Catskill, NY, 9 AM to 3 PM.
TOTALLY 80’S! TOTALLY MURDER! MYSTERY THEATER DINNER host-ed by The Athens Volunteer Fire Department, starting at 5:30pm. $45 per person (adults only). Prizes for best dressed, etc. Dressing for the 80’s should be fun. Dinner, soda, water, wine, beer & dessert included. CAIRO WOODCARVERS CLUB meets the third Monday of each month in the Community Room of the Cairo Public Library, 15 Railroad Avenue, Cairo. Those attending should have some experience and be of an age to handle carving tools safely, as this is not a class and there is no instruction.

Saturday, October 26

5TH ANNUAL TRUNKS FOR TREATS hosted by the Catskill Elks Lodge from 2:30 – 5 pm at the lodge on North Jefferson Avenue in Catskill. This is a FREE event; haunted house, games, food, prizes and lots of fun. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
