FREE LUNCH hosted by Camp Grace, at the First Reformed Church of Catskill, served from 12 noon – 1pm, 310 Main Street. Come enjoy a free hot meal with us!

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 3

FILIPINO FOOD NIGHT at American Legion Post 291, 54 Maple Ave., Greenville. Take out only, $10 per dinner, 4:30 to 7pm. All proceeds go to Areanna Goode’s VA Hospital Veterans Project. Pancit (Rice noodles with chicken & vegetables) & Lumpia (Egg rolls with beef & vegetables) prepared by Authentic Filipino Chef Nora. Call to preorder: 518-291-6035.

CHRISTMAS FAIR at the Kiskatom Reformed Church, 4865 Route 32, Catskill. Handcrafted gifts from local vendors – soaps, knitted wear, photographs, quilted bags, Lucky Chocolates, jewelry and more, 10am to 2pm. Lunch will be available.

HOLIDAY CRAFT FAIR hosted by the Greenville High School Class of 2022 at the high school, 4976 Route 81 from 10am to 3pm.

GREENE’S CANDY CANE CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL Come support small business vendors from all over Greene County and beyond. 1 to 7pm at the Angelo Canna Park in Cairo. Craft & food vendors and children’s activities. Santa Claus will be visiting from 2:30 to 5pm. 50/50 raffle. All proceeds go to adopting local families in need this Christmas.

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 5

CHRISTMAS IN DURHAM – 2 to 4pm at the Michael J. Quill Cultural Center, Route 145, East Durham. Hot cocoa, cotton candy and gift bags from Santa for the kids. Hosted by the Durham Task Force. All are welcome! Please practice CDC Covid guidelines for outdoor events.

CHRISTMAS BY THE RIVER – Downtown Coxsackie, 11am to 4pm. Crafters, Vendors, Food trucks, Music and more!

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 5

A WALK THROUGH BETHLEHEM at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 186 Main Street, Cairo from 2 to 3:30pm. A family event and all are welcome to experience the Christmas story as you walk around the inside and outside of the church. There will be live animals, crafts for the children and refreshments. All ages welcome. Admission is just an item for the Cairo Food Pantry.

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 7

MEMBERSHIP CHRISTMAS PARTY for the Greene County Women’s League Cancer Patient Aid, 12 noon at Red’s Restaurant in Coxsackie. Reservations and prepayment required, ideally before Nov. 19th. G.C.W.L. is a 501(c)(3) non-for-profit organization providing Greene County Cancer patients with assistance in paying medical expenses resulting from the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. 100% of donations are committed to patient care. BINGO at the Catskill Elks Lodge in Jefferson Heights and every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month. Doors open at 5pm; no early arrivals. Early bird games begin at 6:40pm; regular games at 7pm. Players must be 18 years or older. Masks required unless seated.

HOLIDAY CRAFT FAIR – 12 noon to 4:30pm, hosted by the TGM American Legion Post 187, 94 Second Street, Athens, NY – to support their building renovations fund. VENDORS WELCOME. Applications available on our Facebook page or at the Post.

ATHENS 2021 VICTORIAN STOLL – FREE Family Event! Festivities start at 1pm at the Athens Cultural Center, 24 Second Street, ending with caroling, a tree lighting, ice skating and holiday bonfire in the Riverfront Park at 5pm.

5TH ANNUAL COOKIE BAZAAR & CRAFT FAIR at Catskill United Methodist Church, 40 Woodland Ave., 10am to 2pm, or until sold out. Take out only. We will gift wrap your selections for holiday gift giving. All proceeds will support the ministries of the church to serve our neighbors and the local community.
