TOWN OF DURHAM FOURTH OF JULY PARADE & CELEBRATION starting at 11:00 am. Parade kicks off on Route 145 at County Route 20. Ice cream, hot dogs, soda and “Bounce Around” will be provided for the kids at the Festival Grounds in East Durham. Fireworks at dusk – approximately 9pm. Presented by The Durham Task Force. FREEHOLD AIRPORT OPEN HOUSE & FLY-IN 10am to 3pm, 3981 Route 67 in Freehold, NY. FREE event; free parking. Raffles for free glider rides. Watch aircraft take-off and land, guided walking tour of the airport. Bring a chair or blanket and have lunch in our observation area. Learn about flying gliders from club members. Get up close to different types of aircraft. Talk to the pilots. Visit the Civil Air Patrol Open House. Soak in the beauty of the Catskills. Food Truck on site. Glider rides available for purchase. 4TH ANNUAL NATHAN’S RIDE with The Red Barn Riders RC. Sign up at Greenville Town Park, 9 to 11am, donation $20 per person (Free run shirts to first 100 sign ups). Leaving at 11:30am, riding approx. 80 miles thru beautiful areas of Albany, Greene & Schoharie Counties. Returning to Greenville Town Park approx. 3pm for After Run Party – DJ, Bike Games, Food, Raffles and Prizes. After Run Party is rain or shine. This is a Charity Run to help with the on-going needs of a special local young man named Nathan.
