MEMBERSHIP MEETING of The Greene County Women’s League Cancer Patient Aid. Monthly meeting held at Angel’s Family Restaurant, 4385 NY-23 in Cairo. Lunch at 12 noon and meeting called to order at 1pm. Greene County Women’s League (G.C.W.L.) is a 501(c)(3) non-for-profit organization whose mission is to provide Greene County Cancer patients with assistance in paying medical expenses resulting from the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. 100% of donations are committed to patient care. TENNIS LESSONS with Coxsackie-Athens Girls Varsity Tennis Coach Anthony Patski. Lessons start 7/9 and run for 4 weeks (Tuesdays & Thursdays – 8 lessons total). Beginner & Intermediate skill levels welcomed. Ages 8-14, 5:00-6:15pm, cost $80. Ages 15 & up, 6:30-8:00pm, cost $90. Pre-registration is required. TURNING STONE BUS TRIP hosted by the Catskill Elks Lodge. Bus leaves the lodge at 7:30am sharp and leaves Turning Stone at 5:00pm sharp. GREENE COUNTY VIETNAM VETERANS 20TH REUNION – hosted by the Northeast USA Vietnam Veterans Reunion Association, at the Greenville Ameri-can Legion Post 291, 54 Maple Avenue, Greenville. Starting at 12 noon with a very solemn ceremony followed by food, refreshments and plain old-fashioned veteran to veteran comradery into the evening with music by veteran and family band members. The founder of the Patriot Images Photography “Faces of Veterans,” will be there all day and the intent is to photograph as many of the approximate 838K veterans living within NY State. Veterans from all eras and conflicts and their families are welcome.

CANCER PATIENT AID CAR SHOW hosted by The Greene County Women’s League at The Chicken Run Restaurant in Windham from 10am to 2pm. Registration 9am to 11am. $10.00 minimum donation per entrant. Spectators are free. Open to all Years, Makes & Models. Trophies awarded at 2pm: Top 20 Vehicles, People’s Choice, Motorcycle, 1990 Newer, Rick Mundelein Memorial Trophy, etc. and $500 Best in Show “Classic” from the Chicken Run.
