BRONCK MUSEUM LECTURE – “Pressing Matters: The Vanderzee Hay Press and The Baling Revolution” with Historians Ted Hilscher and Jon Palmer for an afternoon talk on the surprisingly riveting history of the humble Hay Press, at 2pm in the Meadow Ridge Heritage Barn on the grounds of the Bronck Museum, 90 County Route 42, Coxsackie. Adult admission is $10, members and children $5.

LIVESTRONG AT THE YMCA! FREE 12- WEEK PROGRAM helps cancer survivors reclaim their health and well-being following a cancer diagnosis. Participants will work with specially trained staff to help build muscle mass & strength, improve confidence and self-esteem, and provide a support system in a group setting. 12 weeks, Tuesdays & Thursdays 1-2:30PM at the Greene County YMCA. BINGO at the Catskill Elks Lodge: held on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month. Doors open 5pm (no early arrivals), early bird games start at 6:10pm & regular bingo begins at 6:40pm. ANNUAL CHICKEN BBQ hosted by the Kiskatom Fire Department, 4838 Rt. 32, Catskill. Take-out 2 -3pm; Eat-in 3:30 to 6 pm. All you can eat of BBQ chicken, corn on the cob, potato salad, baked beans, cucumber salad, roll, beverage (for eat in) and dessert. Donation: $15 for adult; $6 for children 6 to 12; 5 & under free with paid adult ticket.

90’S DANCE PARTY hosted by the Coxsackie Athens Rotary, at Pegasus Restaurant, 7 – 10pm. Tickets are $30 and include finger foods, cash bar, dancing, and a great time. 90’s attire encouraged! Tickets available at Pegasus or visit the Coxsackie Athens Rotary Facebook page. All proceeds will be donated to the Coxsackie Food Pantry.

Fill a bag with hardcovers, paperbacks, DVDs, CDs, magazines & puzzles for $5 or buy one paperback for a quarter! We have bags. Hosted by the Friends of the Greenville Library to benefit our wonderful library.
