SATURDAY, JULY 3
TOWN OF DURHAM’S FOURTH OF JULY PARADE EVENT
starts at 11:00 am. We will have ice cream, hot dogs, soda, a “Bounce Around” for the kids, and FIREWORKS at dusk (approximately 9pm), at the Festival Grounds on Route 145 in East Durham. Everyone is welcome.
WALK & TOY DRIVE – hosted by The Wind-ham Rotary Foundation – 8am to 3pm at the Windham Path, 4939 NY-23, Windham. Rain date – July 17. Donation $10.00 plus unwrapped toy(s); kids 12 & under $5.00; under 2 years, free. Funds raised will benefit the many charities of the Windham Rotary Foundation and the toys will benefit the “Here Comes Christmas” program of the Greene County Community Action. SUMMER CONCERT at the Gazebo, Corner of Routes 81 and 32 in Greenville, live music with The Michael Benedict Quartet, 6 – 8pm. Free, just bring a lawn chair.

CHICKEN PARM DINNER at the Catskill Elks Lodge in Jefferson Heights. Full dinner TAKE OUT ONLY is $13. Pick up starts at 4:30pm. You MUST pre-order by July 6th by calling 518-894-0271.

HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE COLLECTION EVENT – 7am to 11:30am at the Greene County Highway Department, 67 Scott Lane, Athens. Available to Greene County Residents only. Proof of residency required.
