HIKEFEST 2021 presented by the Mountaintop Historical Society. Friday night Zoom presentation on the history of the Hotel Kaaterskill. Saturday – two hike options: one to the grounds of the former Hotel Kaaterskill, the other to sites along the Kaaterskill escarpment trail that inspired the art of Sanford Robinson Gifford, a member of the Hudson River School of Painting. WINDHAM’S 26TH ANNUAL AUTUMN AFFAIR Fun for all ages! Live music, kids’ activities, craft vendors, food court, hay maze, pony rides, beer & wine tastings. FREE admission. 10am to 5pm on Main Street, Windham. Sponsored by the Windham Chamber of Commerce.

BINGO IS BACK at the Catskill Elks Lodge in Jefferson Heights and will be held every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month. Doors open at 5pm; no early arrivals. Early bird games begin at 6:40pm; regular games at 7pm. Players must be 18 years or older. Masks required unless seated.

FALL FOOD DRIVE to support neighbors in need, sponsored by the Catskill Rotary, Community Action of Greene County, and Catholic Charities. Collection will take place from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Catskill Firehouse at 1 Central Ave near Walmart in Catskill. This is a great way to give back to your community by donating food and personal hygiene products. Some suggested foods: canned fish and lean meats, peanut butter and other nut butters, healthy soups and stews, whole grain breakfast cereals, canned or dried beans, pasta sauce and canned tomatoes, shelf stable milk, baby food, whole grains, and canned vegetables.
