EQUINE SCHOOLING DAY presented by the Greenville FFA, 4 to 7pm. Bring your horse and utilize our amazing 200 ft. x 80 ft. outdoor sand riding arena – great footing. All disciplines welcome – barrels-polesschooling jumps. Bring your trainer and enjoy a practice day. $10 suggested donation. SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 10

LIGHT UP THE BARN FUNDRAISER 5:30pm-9pm. Support the New Baltimore Conservancy’s restoration work to light up the barn with electric power after decades of relying on generators when power is needed. Dance to music from the Playin’ with Fire Band under the full Harvest Moon. Bring a chair and a beverage and indulge in pizza and a Stewart’s ice cream sundae. $15.00 per person. 1886 River Road, New Baltimore.

FALL FLING FLEA MARKET & CRAFT FAIR hosted by TGM American Legion Post 187, 9am to 4pm at 94 Second Street, Athens. Vendors welcome – applications and prices available on our Facebook page or at the Post. Proceeds will go toward the kitchen renovation project.

WEDNESDAYS, SEPTEMBER 14 & 28

BINGO at the Catskill Elks Lodge is held on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month. Doors open at 5pm, early bird games begin at 6:40, regular session 7:05pm. Players should act responsibly regarding social distance and staying home if symptomatic.

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 15

CHICKEN BARBECUE hosted by United Methodist Church, Coxsackie, 4 to 6:30pm. Catered by Frese’s Catering. $15 per person – includes half chicken, baked potato, corn, coleslaw, roll, butter, cookies. GOLF OUTING – The Catskill Elks Lodge annual golf fundraiser at the Catskill Golf Club. $100 per person includes golf with cart, continental breakfast, refreshments on the course and a pork dinner at the lodge after golf. NORTHEAST USA VIETNAM VETERANS ASSOCIATION will dedicate a monument and flagpole to the 17 Vietnam soldiers from Greene County that died in that war. Services and ceremony will start at 10am at Veterans Park, Corner of Routes 81 & 32, Greenville.

ANNUAL CHICKEN BBQ hosted by The Kiskatom Fire Dept., 4838 Rt. 32, Catskill. Takeouts from 2-3pm & eat-in from 3:30-6pm.
